Netherlands Stock Market Update
Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Technology, and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX fell 0.56%.
Best Performers
The best performers of the session on the AEX were:
– IMCD NV (AS:IMCD): up 0.95% (1.45 points) to trade at 153.45 at the close.
– Shell PLC (AS:SHEL): added 0.52% (0.16 points) to end at 30.89.
– Koninklijke Philips NV (AS:PHG): up 0.47% (0.14 points) to 29.64 in late trade.
Worst Performers
The worst performers of the session were:
– BE Semiconductor Industries NV (AS:BESI): fell 2.27% (2.35 points) to trade at 101.35 at the close.
– ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT): declined 1.56% (0.35 points) to end at 22.13.
– ABN AMRO Group NV (AS:ABNd): down 1.51% (0.24 points) to 15.37.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 76 to 27 and 10 ended unchanged.
The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged at 21.09.
Commodities Trading
- Crude oil for December delivery rose 1.86% (1.28) to $69.97 a barrel.
- Brent oil for December delivery rose 1.55% (1.13) to $74.19 a barrel.
- December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% (5.30) to trade at $2,735.30 a troy ounce.
Currency Update
- EUR/USD was unchanged at 1.08,
- EUR/GBP unchanged at 0.83.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 103.75.
