PiP World Raises $10 Million for Educational Gaming Ecosystem

Web3 gaming developer PiP World has announced a capital raise to expand its educational-focused ecosystem. This includes a Roblox stock simulator and a Telegram-based game.

Based in Dubai, PiP World raised $10 million from UAE-based fintech Exinity. The company aims to become the “Duolingo of crypto,” blending engaging gameplay with personalized learning as it grows its gaming portfolio.

In August, PiP World acquired the Roblox-based stock simulator called StockRise. Last month, they launched the Telegram-based game, Gold Rush. By the end of the year, they plan to unveil a blockchain-based mobile game called PiP Trader.

PiP World intends to incentivize players of its Roblox and Telegram games to engage with the new mobile game. Their educational gaming approach aligns with the trend seen in popular Telegram games like Hamster Kombat, Catizen, and Notcoin, which have attracted millions of new users to the Web3 gaming landscape.

The ease of joining these free-to-play Telegram games, coupled with the chance to earn tokens through airdrops, has resulted in a significant user base from less-developed economies. PiP World sees an opportunity to add value to this demographic.

CEO Saad Naja expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Exinity, stating, “We’re excited to join forces with Exinity as we advance our mission to transform the way people learn about financial markets. This investment will enable us to expand our offerings and reach more users globally, particularly in the emerging markets where financial tools and knowledge are scarce.”
