Apple TV+ Available on Amazon Prime Video

(Reuters) – Amazon announced on Wednesday that Apple TV+ will be available on Prime Video later this month in the U.S. for $9.99 per month. This move benefits Apple, which has been trailing behind streaming competitors like Netflix, Disney+, and even Amazon's own Prime Video.

Apple TV+, known for originals such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, and Severance, has built its reputation on in-house content, achieving 72 Emmy Award nominations.

However, Apple TV+ has one of the highest customer cancellation rates among streaming services, while Netflix maintains the lowest, according to market research by Antenna.

Amazon will integrate Apple TV+ as a channel on Prime Video, joining other streaming services like HBO Max, Discovery+, Starz, Showtime, and Paramount+.
